And "hottest" is hardly an exaggeration with temperatures on Tikki Beach soaring well past 90 degrees and the humidity hovering at around 1000%. Although the stage was hot, there were occasional breezes to help cool things down and the staff at the Tikki graciously provided an endles suppliy of refreshing iced water to help us stay hydrated.

Our usual blend of Rockabilly and roots Rock & Roll seemed perfect for this venue but we decided to mix things up a bit with a few R&B numbers including a dedication to a first year anniversary couple of Aretha Franklin's "Baby I Love You". The audience was friendly and welcoming, the weather was clear and bright and the band was in it's element. What could be better?
